These need to be both attention grabbing to a reader and also contain keywords that people will search for.

The difference between a good title can a bad one can literally be thoasands of visitors!

Creating an Attractive Headline:

• It needs to be short, sharp and to the point.
• It needs to describe exactly what is in the post

Keywords in the headline:
This is extremely important because search engines are heavily influenced by the word in the headlines. For this reason make sure that the words in the title reflect what people will search for in Google. These posts contains videos so it is usually a good idea to write video, videos, or vid somewhere in the post title.

You need to find a balance between an attractive headline and one that contains the correct keywords to describe the video, with the keywords being the slightly more important aspect.

Example:

For this example we’ll discuss a video that shows Jim Carrey singing I Am A Walrus.

Attractive Headlines you Could Use:

• Jim Carrey Rocks Out With Beatles Classic
• Funny Man Jim Carrey Is The Walrus!
• Damn! I Didn’t Know Jim Carrey Could Sing So Good!
• Jim Carrey’s Rock Hard Vocals Power Out Beatles Classic
• Jim Carrey’s Awesome Rendition of “I Am The Walrus”!
• Jim Carrey’s Most Awesome Singing (Video)

Now Think Of the Keywords to describe the video (synonyms in brackets):

• Video (Vid, Video Clip, Clip)
• Jim Carrey (Carrey)
• I Am The Walrus
• Sing (Singing, Sings)

Now try and re-create a purely keyword focused headline that contains these words:

• Jim Carrey Singing I Am The Walrus (Video)

The most important Keywords are Jim Carrey Video. This is because it is the term that is most accurate to the video and something a lot of people will search for. These should most definitely be in the title.

Combine the Two:

Now combine that with the attractive headlines above fitting in as many keywords as possible.

• Jim Carrey Rocks Out Singing “I Am The Walrus” (Video)
