Post Content
- A friendly, witty and informative style is what is wanted here.
- You are pretty much free to write as you please and express your own opinions but please don’t state facts unless you know they are true, and it helps to credit the source of any fact by linking to it.
- Please try to drop keyword phrases in occasionally as it fits with what you are writing.
- The video should always appear at the top.
- Don't let one paragraph become longer than 4 lines.
- Always link as often as possible to our sister site webtvwire.com and to old posts and category pages within webtvhub.com
- You will need to be able to write the posts in HTML.
What to Write About??
- Do not follow the crowd and try to be unique. While you can use some of the sources below to find videos I also recommend you head out on the hunt to find your own by searching and browsing the video sharing sites or Google.
- Don't just pick the first video/story you see. Check a few different ones and pick the one that would be most interesting to our readers.
- Its not just funny videos but also any video that might be entertaining or interesting. It doesn't have to make someone laugh but it should be interesting.
- Feel free to mix it up every now and then and fit in a less popular video or something a bit random that you've found interesting.

RSS
If you do not currently use RSS feeds to keep up with blogs and news sites then you need to do it right now. It will allow you to quickly look at the latest news and videos without having to jump from site to site.
- Download FeedReader and install it
- Create a folder specifically called "Hot Videos"
- Add the following RSS feeds to that folder:
-
http://digg.com/rss/containervideos.xml
(more YouTube RSS feeds here: http://www.youtube.com/rssls)
- http://www.youtubedigger.com/feed/
- Add more feeds that you come across that can help you find the best videos to post.
Want to Blog More?
- If there is something you have a particular passion for (e.g cooking, building things, rock music) then let me know and further down the line we could make a dedicated section of the blog with regular videos of your preferred topic.
- After you are comfortable with posting videos and writing about them there will be other writing opportunities that may come available to you.
